Ndolage Hospital is a voluntary, nonprofit hospital owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, North Western Diocese (ELCT-NWD). It was founded in 1928 by a German missionary doctor as a small unit and has since grown significantly. In 1960, ELCT-NWD assumed full responsibility in partnership with missionary societies, including the Church of Sweden Mission and the Danish Missionary Society.
The hospital currently operates with a capacity of 260 beds, serving a catchment population of approximately 60,000 people in Muleba District, Kagera Region.
