Building teachers’ capacity on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) is a key part of our work to ensure adolescents and young people receive accurate, age-appropriate information about their bodies, health, and available services.
Through this capacity building, teachers are better equipped to cascade this knowledge to young people through schools and children’s clubs, while also nurturing life skills, financial literacy, and active citizenship.
From learning about SRHR to practicing financial literacy and establishing school vegetable gardens, young people are encouraged to make informed choices, embrace healthy nutrition, develop a saving culture, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
By equipping teachers with the right knowledge and skills, we strengthen their role in empowering young people to thrive
