We marked Menstrual Hygiene Week with purpose and impact!
With support from Norwegian Church Aid Tanzania, we reached over 800 adolescent girls and boys in 5 schools, including two for children with disabilities, across Mbulu, Babati, Hanang’, and Dongobesh.

We provided 560 dignity kits to girls, promoting menstrual health and dignity
During our visits, girls raised key concerns:
1. Limited access to menstrual products
2. Preference for reusable pads
3. Minimal involvement of fathers
4. Many live with elderly caregivers with limited support
We urge parents and duty bearers to act:
✅ Break the stigma around menstruation
✅ Equip girls with knowledge and products
✅ Engage men and boys in menstrual health education
✅ Invest in inclusive menstrual health services
Menstrual health is a shared responsibility. Let’s stand up for dignity and equity!
